Online Therapy of Texas
The Mind Matters, PLLC, doing business as Online Therapy of Texas
Effective Date: October 20, 2026
1. Introduction
Online Therapy of Texas, operated by The Mind Matters, PLLC, doing business as Online Therapy of Texas (“we,” “our,” or “the Practice”), respects your privacy.
This Website Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and disclosed when you visit https://www.onlinetherapyoftexas.com or contact our practice through our website.
This policy applies to our public website. Our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices addresses protected health information associated with our healthcare services.
2. Information We Collect
Website usage information
Our website uses Framer’s built-in analytics, including live visitors, unique visitors, and total page views, to help us understand website activity. Google Analytics is not configured through Framer’s standard integration.
The technical review was limited to identified Framer settings and accessible project code. It did not establish a complete inventory of cookies, identifiers, server-side processing, or third-party requests.
Information you voluntarily provide
When you select “Request a Consultation,” you are directed to our secure Hushmail-hosted consultation form. The form requests your name, email address, telephone number, and an optional message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and help connect you with an appropriate therapist. Please avoid including unnecessary clinical details.
Email notifications contain no submitted client information. Accessing submitted information requires logging in to Hushmail.
3. How We Use Information
We use inquiry information to respond to consultation requests, discuss available services, and help connect prospective clients with an appropriate therapist. We use website analytics to understand general website activity.
We do not sell or rent prospective client information or share it with outside businesses for their own marketing. No paid advertising campaigns currently run.
4. Third-Party Services
Framer hosts our public website and provides its built-in analytics.
Hushmail hosts our secure consultation form and handles consultation inquiries. Inquiry information is not submitted through Framer’s native contact form system.
Headway handles clinical onboarding and services. Information provided through Headway is also subject to its applicable privacy notices and service arrangements.
The custom code independently reviewed in Framer’s Site Settings → Code contained only a Google Search Console verification meta tag. That tag verifies site ownership; it is not a Google Analytics measurement tag.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Framer’s built-in analytics is active. Framer describes its built-in analytics as not relying on cookies. Google Analytics is not configured through the standard Framer integration.
No analytics or advertising code was identified in the accessible project code files reviewed. These limited checks do not establish that the website or linked services use no cookies, identifiers, advertising technologies, or other third-party processing.
6. Information Security
Consultation inquiries are submitted through our secure Hushmail-hosted contact form rather than through Framer’s native form system. Email notifications contain no submitted client information; access to submissions requires logging in to Hushmail.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Information Retention
Retention of inquiry information is subject to applicable legal and healthcare recordkeeping requirements. To ask about retention or request deletion of information you have submitted, contact mitchell@onlinetherapyoftexas.com. Certain information may need to be retained under applicable legal or professional obligations.
8. Your Privacy Choices
Send privacy requests to mitchell@onlinetherapyoftexas.com. We verify identity before acting on requests and apply applicable legal exceptions.
You may contact us with questions or requests concerning access, correction, or deletion of information you have submitted. Some information may need to be retained under applicable healthcare, legal, or professional obligations.
9. External Websites
Our website links to external services, including Hushmail and Headway. These services maintain their own privacy notices and practices. Please review them before submitting information.
10. Children’s Privacy
Therapy primarily serves individuals ages 15 and older. Younger children may be considered following an initial clinical consultation.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our website, technology, business practices, or applicable laws. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date once approved.
